How to Maximize Your Eye Area

Why the Eye Area Matters

  • The eye area is the main focal point of the face for both men and women.
    D. Gill, 2017
  • Humans have a natural fixation on the eyes when observing faces or during conversations.
Melissa L. et al., 2012 Research in evolutionary psychology confirms that the eyes are the most important facial feature for perception of beauty, dominance, intelligence, and social importance.
  • Key facial features the brain prioritizes: eyes, nose, and mouth. The visual cortex registers them first. \n Matthias S. Keil

When we have poor posture or nerd neck, as it is commonly known, the cranial base is incorrectly aligned and we lift the head as a compensatory movement for the drooping of the neck.
Therefore the frontal bone rises and we lose coverage of the ocular area and cause us to have elongated orbitals, which is the opposite of what we are looking for.

As has been confirmed in various studies, the cranial base is affected by cervical (neck) alignment, which is why it is important to maintain correct posture, thus aligning the frontal bone at the lowest possible point (reducing the eye-brow space and achieving bone coverage).

In the following diagrams from the study
"Analysis of sagittal alignment parameters following anterior cervical hybrid decompression and fusion of multilevel cervical Spondylotic myelopathy.", Yuming Huang. 2019
we can see the postural condition:

Corrective exercises for kyphosis/nerd neck:

  1. Chin tuck: Standing straight against the wall or simply in a straight posture, we try to lift the back of the head as high as possible while tucking the chin in as far as possible (until we have a lot of double chins).
We should repeat this exercise several times a day to correct cranial offset.
It is recommended to repeat 5 to 20 times a day, with 5 to 15 repetitions.

❄️ Surface Fixes (The Foundation)

Clarity

If the whites of your eyes are yellow, you instantly look tired and unhealthy. The fix is simple:

  • Use lubricating eye drops
  • Stay hydrated
  • Get proper sleep

Clear sclera = clean, attractive contrast, even if you don’t change your actual eye color.

Contrast

Your eyes can’t stand out if your brows and hair blend into your skin tone. Darkening brows or hair by just one shade can make your eyes appear brighter and more defined.

Lashes

Curling your lashes isn’t just for models on runways—it sharpens the shape of your eyes and opens them up. If your lashes point downward, curling instantly reverses the “tired” look.

🌊 Subsurface Fixes (Intermediate Level)

Colored Contacts

Contacts aren’t about faking, they’re about amplifying:

  • Blue: Elite on light skin + dark hair
  • Green: Exotic, universal across most tones
  • Honey/Hazel: God-tier for warm, deeper skin tones

Pro tip: go just one shade lighter than your natural eye color for subtle but powerful results.

Lash & Brow Enhancement

  • Lash dye = sharper definition and more contrast
  • Brow shaping: tweak arch/angle to compress eye-brow distance for a more hunter-like appearance
  • Minoxidil: thickens patchy brows over time. Get high quality minoxidil here

Neuromuscular Control

Facial expression matters. Train yourself to:

  • Lower brow position slightly
  • Engage orbicularis oculi (hiding excess lower eyelid)
  • Direct gaze through brow line

Actors do this all the time—it changes how your resting face is perceived.

2. Soft tissue improvement: Skin, fat, and muscle.

Results from @Junaidzu, note how changing the neck posture projected his superior orbitals and "closed" the cranial base angles (improvement).
As we know, the eye area is also surrounded by soft tissue and muscles, improving this will also increase the attractiveness of your eyes.

2. Soft Tissue and Muscle Conditioning

Improving the muscles and skin around the eyes can enhance their appearance safely. Orbicularis Muscle Training:

  1. Gently squeeze your eye muscles as if squinting.
  2. Hold for 1–5 seconds.
  3. Release and relax.
  4. Repeat 10–20 times, 1–3 times a day. imagen

Eyelid Lifting (Gentle):

  • Place your fingers on the upper eyelid and gently lift the skin to feel light tension. \n- Hold for 3–5 seconds.
  • Repeat 5–10 times, 1–2 times a day. imagen

Special considerations:

Some of these exercises can cause wrinkles known as crow's feet, which are quite prevalent in hooded or hunter's eyes.

Optional: Derma Needling + Retinol Routine

We massage the area with a derma roller, the entire orbital, very gently and smoothly.
The small needles serve as a skin rejuvenating agent.

We apply retinol 2–3 days a week, varying your level of roughness and dermal deterioration.

#Eyebrows

eyebrows are more than just hairs sitting above your eyes. They can make or break your look. Whether you want them fuller, cleaner, or just healthy, this guide will help you achieve it. Eyebrows difference

🪴 1. Growing Your eyebrows Naturally

Getting nice eyebrows doesn’t happen overnight. You need a lot of patience and dedication.

🌱 Oils That Help

  • Rosemary oil helps improve blood flow to your hair follicles.
  • Castor oil is thick and nourishing, perfect if your eyebrows are thin.
  • Coconut oil keeps them moisturized and stops breakage.

How to use them

  1. Mix a few drops of rosemary or castor oil with a carrier oil like coconut or jojoba.
  2. Gently massage the mixture into your eyebrows before going to sleep.
  3. Wash it off in the morning.
  4. Do this three to four times a week for the best results.

Eat for Better Eyebrows

What you eat shows up in your hair. Eggs, salmon, nuts, and leafy greens pack protein and good fats that help growth. It’s simple stuff, but it works.

Give It Time

Eyerows grow slow. You’ll probably start seeing changes in six to twelve weeks. Don’t give up if nothing happens in the first month.

2. Trimming and Shaping

You don’t have to go crazy with tweezers. A little trim goes a long way.

Tools You’ll Need

  • Small eyebrow scissors
  • A spoolie brush
  • Tweezers (only for the random stray hairs)

How I Tidy Mine

  1. Brush your brows up.
  2. Trim the really long hairs sticking out.
  3. Brush them down and check the bottom line. Trim carefully.
  4. Pluck only the ones outside your natural shape. Less is more.

✅ Tip: Trim slowly. You can always take more off, but you can’t put it back once it’s gone.

3. Shapes That Work

For Men

  • Straight, natural brows look strong and masculine.
  • A slight arch adds definition without looking overdone.
  • Avoid making them too thin or highly arched because it can look unnatural.

For Everyone

  • Full, well-groomed brows are attractive.
  • Symmetry is more important than perfection, so follow your natural brow line.
  • Do not over-pluck or wax outside your natural contours. eyebrow shapes

4. Daily Maintenance

  • Wash them gently when you wash your face.
  • Skip harsh chemicals. They’re not your friends.
  • Oils or serums are cool for hydration.
  • Keep an eye on stray hairs and gently tidy them up.

Final Thoughts

Your eyebrows might be small, but they make a big difference. Focus on natural growth, trim carefully, and follow your face’s natural shape. Healthy, natural-looking brows always win over overly sculpted ones. Stick with it, and your eyebrows will frame your eyes perfectly without looking like you spent an hour in a salon every morning.

Key Takeaways

  • Focus on safe posture correction, eye muscle exercises, and skin care.
  • Avoid risky practices like bone manipulation or aggressive skin pulling.
  • Consistency over time produces natural, healthy improvements in eye appearance.
